i don t have cancer but a rare addiction an orphan illness as they say
i was beginning to set a stable and quite solid social background when it happened for the first time
you know it s like going to the doctor for a sorethroat and then come back with something else like i dont know well...you see with something worst
so it happened the first time as i was walking down the street next to a disco
there was this kind of hypnotic heart beat like sound coming through the wall
and i started to feel something really strange in my body like that everything in me
everything was just moving everything was like called by the music and i realized that all i ever needed before was just there accros that wall
that my life would be impossible without what was accross that wall
then the doctor told me the name of my illness
he told me that people like me are Dance addicted


i like the simple structure
i like the 8 bars structure
first the beat of course, then the bass, then the harmony and finally the melody or the sample
i like the simple structure with a new element each eight mesure
i like when the tempo is included between 120 and 130
i like the female vocalise for hours with absolutly no meaning, no text
i like the 2d and the 5th degree when they don t bring to the 1st but that they are repeated over and over again
i like the sound of old keyboard mixed with sample of samba or bossa nova or jazz and with that old school big beat

this shit moves me it make me feel great
and i am tired of all those fuckers who think that they get it if they listen to what the specialist magasine says

if i like dance music, i want to hear dance music and not minimal german electro
i want some cheap
i want it to be cheesy i want it to be cliche i want it to be predictable
that s what turn me on thats what i want to do
music which is nothing more than what it pretend to be right now when it s still hot straight out of the composer mind
